PERMANENT UPDATE
NOTICE! If, after some time, you request to have an account bumped down you will be placed back into the year you were originally in before applying for a Year Bump, Adult, and/or Muggle/Squib. Only in the case of advancing through each year with the account in question, may you select which year you are bumped down to. This has been added to all application threads in the Sorting Ceremony and will be added to the HOS F.A.Q. for future reference.
PERMANENT UPDATE
Please remember that, as a member with the power to move threads, they MUST be moved to the "REMOVED TOPICS TERM #" board located in the HOS Corner category, and nowhere else. The staff keeps finding threads in places where they don't belong. Make sure you have selected the correct board before moving threads to another area!

Current Events: December
This month we celebrate the birth of our great forum! December 23rd is HOS' official birthday and to celebrate the Admin Team will be giving out fabulous prizes! Make sure you check out the HOS Birthday Celebration board for all the details on how to claim the awesome prizes. Also, this month the shops on HOS will be posting special holiday discounts and promotions for the holiday shopping season. Get out there and shop til you drop and help boost the wizarding economy!

The Plot
The year is 2035, and the Wizarding World of Great Britain has found more peace now than in the last three decades. The crumbling castle of Hogwarts has been restored to its former glory, and wizarding families have been eased to know that the students are once again safe.
Through the dust, however, some tensions have remained high. Those with special abilities, and half-human like creatures are more welcomed than before, but still pose a threat to wizard-kind and are regulated like 'beasts'. Even followers of the Dark Lord continue trying to gain control, but those of the Order step in.
Every so often you hear about the past trying to relive itself in our future; Will you allow it? Shall the Wizarding World remain in tranquility as they worked so hard to earn it? Or will you take hand in shattering the glass of illusion? The decision is yours..
